VER is a long-term investor that pursues a responsible and secure investment policy geared to generate a sound rate of return. It is a buffer fund whose returns may fluctuate sharply over short time spans. All investment decicions are based on target return and the yield potential offered by prospective investments with due regard to the risk involved.

The investments fall into four categories: fixed income instruments, equities, position management and illiquid investments.
